Mary Kate Cole happens to be a good friend of mine, which turned out to be a good thing, since I’ve been hounding her since the beginning of time for a blog on her house. Let me give you a little background on Mary Kate.
1. She’s extremely trendy.
2. She’s extremely talented.
3. She’s extremely particular.
4. There’s a reason, because everything she creates, is amazing.
I thought that since she had to get her house ready for a graduation party for her oldest daughter, it was the perfect time to ask for a blog of her backyard. This place is like something straight out of The Secret Garden. Her pergola that her husband built, is covered in wisteria and honeysuckle. Her flower beds are filled with metal bins of lettuce, celery and basil. From the multi colored table set, to the kids playhouse — it’s any kid, or adult’s dream. Sit under the pergola, eat, drink some wine and watch the kids have a blast in The Secret Garden. Who would want anything else?
