Quite the difference, eh? We are a family that spends most of our time in the kitchen. It only made sense to make in an open concept. We had a wet bar on the other side of the kitchen that just became a catch all. By eliminating that, we were able to push back the kitchen 2 feet. Those 2 feet made a world of difference for us. It gave us the ability to open up the entrance to the kitchen completely. We got all of the appliances from our local appliance store, and went through our local home store to get everything else. I white washed all of the timbers because I felt there was going to be a lot of wood going on in there. I LOVE how they turned out. Everything else came together and we couldn’t be happier.

Sunday House CallThis couch has been through it with me — from the store days to my own living room. It’s held up like a champ (seriously, it still looks brand new), and I’ve loved it for a long time. But… I think I’m over it. So I’m calling in backup — you! Agree with me? Or talk me out of it? I want to know what you think. You can scroll through the full life saga here —> #lifeofagreencouch #freemandigs #sundayhousecall

This living room has been through a lot: furniture swaps, rug trials, and more paint swatches than I care to admit. But somehow, it always finds its way back to feeling like home. It’s the spot where we pile on the couch for movie nights, where coffee tastes better in the morning light, and where a lot of my ideas are born (and occasionally forgotten mid-thought).I’m a firm believer that your space should grow with you—not just be a snapshot of one perfect moment. And this room? She’s growing right along with me.What’s the one thing that makes your living room feel like home?#freemandigs #moodylivingroom

This week’s Tuesday Tips (that nobody asked for) is coming to you in a very different form. Totally outside my usual home interior niche, but perfectly on theme for Mental Health Awareness Month.I made this video during a really long car ride—partly so I wouldn’t fall asleep, partly because my daughter was upset about something and I wanted to cheer her up. The things we do for our kids, right?A good friend (you know who you are) swears the world needs to see this.I told her the world would think I’m a moron. So here we are.If it makes you laugh, then great—mission accomplished. And if you do think I’m a moron… maybe just keep that little gem to yourself.#TuesdayTips #NotLikeUs #NeverEnough

This is a mental health post.June is always a tough month for me. I’ve noticed it creeps in slowly—the quiet sadness, the second-guessing. I think it’s because this is the month I crave time with my kids the most. I work from home, and I genuinely love having them here, popping into the room mid-project, asking what's for lunch, or just being around. But this summer is going to feel different. It is different. It’s my last one with my older daughter before she heads off to college. I’m so proud of her. So excited for what’s next. And also… completely heartbroken that I won’t see her every day anymore.Lately, I’ve found myself questioning things -- Is this even worth it? Do people care? Is what I’m doing making any kind of impact? Instagram is not for the faint of heart. There are so many hours behind every post, and while I truly love it, sometimes the pressure outweighs the joy.So if you’re also feeling off—know you’re not alone. And if there’s someone you follow who makes your day a little better, let them know. Like the post. Leave a comment. Share it. That tiny act of encouragement makes a real difference. It helps people like me know you're out there, and that what we’re putting into the world matters. Thanks for being here. It means more than you know. For now, here are a few pictures of my beautiful senior—off to chase big dreams soon.

Time for a little before + after ➡️We never actually use this foyer... but she still deserved a moment.Sure, no one walks in this way—but if they did? They’d be greeted by a glow-up. No more sad lighting or blank walls. Just a little style statement that says, “yes, I’m dramatic—even in the unused corners.”Not every space has to work hard. Some just get to be pretty.#FoyerGlowUp #BeforeAndAfter #FreemanDigs
